Staff Voice

I believe our school is built around positive relationships and without this we would struggle to make a positive impact with our pupils.  Forming positive relationships allows us to then gain trust and respect.  This enables us to meet individual need which can range from basic care to learning and development. 

I have to say I am very proud to be a part of a team of very special people.  I say this because I do believe you have to have something special about you if you are able to work successfully within this environment.  Yes, it can be extremely challenging.  There are days where you feel you are getting nowhere and this can feel so frustrating.  However, there are days that are extremely rewarding and you can see pupils making real progress.

At Park Aspire I feel that our team truly come to work every day solely for the pupils and want the best for them so they can successfully learn, grow and achieve the best outcomes in their future lives.  I feel very lucky to have been made to feel so welcome and be part of an amazing team who are able to make a real impact on pupil’s care and education. 

Working at Park Aspire is like no other teaching job you’ll ever experience. In this school the children come first always. We provide a unique safe space for them to be able to learn, to build relationships, to access life skills, experience vocational activities and develop their own self-esteem. 

It’s a very tough job as the children bring with them many social and emotional difficulties that can make them challenging, but there are no better rewards than seeing them make progress in any part of their lives and see them begin to trust you and your class team.  

Park Aspire is genuinely a school run as a team, we all have each other’s backs from the Cook to the Head. This has to be so because some days you are on your knees, physically and mentally drained and you need that colleague to help you up, put you back together so you can go again tomorrow. I love my job and this school makes me feel I make a difference.

Working at Park Aspire is a privilege. Every day is different, some days may be a challenge but knowing that we can, and do, make a fundamental difference to the wellbeing, mental health and education of our pupils is so very rewarding.

Working at Park Aspire is exciting and every day is different.  I really enjoy the camaraderie of the staff. The pupils can be challenging, but there is nothing more rewarding seeing the difference we make to children who face lots of barriers in their lives.

Amazing to be part of such a supportive and caring staff team. Smiling through the highs and lows, always encouraging and motivating. Everyone works together to make Park Aspire work and to provide a fantastic environment for all children.
